If you have a cold sore, we will use disposable tools, which may affect the final look, and lipstick application will not be possible. To ensure we can do your makeup with a cold sore, please bring your own makeup and tools if possible. We cannot proceed with makeup application if you have a contagious eye infection.

Hairstyling: For all formal hair services (formal down style, half up, updo, etc), please have 100% dry hair. Your hair should be fairly clean. If your hair tends to get oily within a day, wash the same day as your appointment. If you can go multiple days without washing, washing one day prior is sufficient. For short hair blow dry services, please arrive with clean and damp hair. For all hair extensions, please brush them out before your scheduled appointment time. Please wear a shirt that is easy to remove with out ruining your hairstyle. No collars please if you're getting an updo.

Makeup: For all makeup services please arrive with a clean face with a non-spf moisturizer applied. If you need to use an spf, refrain from using a mineral sunscreen with titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide in the ingredients. These ingredients can cause flashback and make you appear lighter in flash and bright light photography.

Pets Policy: For hygiene and safety reasons, no pets are allowed in the hair and makeup preparation area. While we adore animals, this policy protects the cleanliness of our tools and the safety of everyone involved, including your pets, around hot tools and products. Only certified service animals are permitted. Children Supervision: Children under 8 must be supervised at all times. If a parent is receiving services, a designated babysitter is required during that period. Respect for Artist Property: Please do not touch or request any items from the artists' kits, including makeup, bobby pins, hot tools, combs, brushes, or other products. Any damage to the artists' tools or supplies due to disregard of this policy will result in the client being charged the full replacement cost. Artists cannot loan out products or tools for insurance reasons. Liability Release: Clients agree to release the artist(s) from liability for any damage or injury resulting from failure to follow these policies.

PHOTO RELEASE: I hereby grant Nancy Caroline Beauty the right and permission to publish, without charge, select photographs taken of me. The photographs may be used on www.nancycaroline.com, or social media. Photos taken by NCB will not be posted online until at least 24 hours after my event date.
